Wild flowers

There is a wide range of wildflowers in the Wychwood area, including seven nationally rare wild flower species that occur at 20 sites in West Oxfordshire. These rare plants grow in these locations as they are lime-loving and survive (but only just in some cases) due to the underlying limestone. If you have an interest in wild flora then you may like to join our Wychwood Flora Group who have regular talks, walks and events in the Wychwood area.
