Wychwood Forest Fair 2021 - 22nd August

Plastic chairs full of people enjoying the fairOur annual Wychwood Forest Fair celebrates the conservation work, rural crafts and community activities of those living within the bounds of the old Royal Hunting Forest of Wychwood. The Forest Fair is also a major fundraiser to support the Wychwood Project's wildlife and landscape conservation work.

Forest Fair 2021 - Sunday 22 August

We're very excited to announce that the Wychwood Forest Fair will be going ahead this year on Sunday 22 August at Foxburrow Wood, Witney. With lots of entertainment including falconry, ferret racing, pony rides, rural and home crafts, food stalls, a bar, a tea tent and much more, it's a fun way to enjoy a summer Sunday while supporting your local conservation charity.

To keep things safe, the Fair will have more open-air stalls and take place over a larger space than in previous years. We're encouraging advance bookings so that we can keep an eye on numbers by offering £8 tickets for advance bookings and £10 tickets on the door. Under-16s are free.

We'll keep you posted as details unfold: we can't wait!

Book your tickets here: http://wychwood-project.mitingu.com/wychwood-forest-fair-2021

Please note: The Fair will take place a few weeks earlier than usual this year to work with the current circumstances. We're excited the fair is returning to Foxburrow and plan to make this year as fun as ever.

Volunteers, book donations

As in previous years, we are grateful to any volunteers willing to help us run this well established and popular local event, whether by manning the entrances, helping set up and pack up, helping with the bookstall, or working behind the scenes. We would also appreciate donations of books for our famous second-hand bookstall.

If you would like to volunteer at the Fair or offer donations of books please email miranda@wychwoodproject.org.uk.
