How to become a friend of Wychwood
Anyone with an interest in the Wychwood Project and who supports its aims can become a Friend of the Wychwood. Local councils, businesses, schools, clubs and other organisations are also welcome to join as Group or Business members.
What is involved?
Beyond supporting the Project's aim there is no requirement or commitment. Of course, many Friends will wish to do more and there are many ways to help, of which these are just a few examples:
- by establishing or becoming involved in a local Wychwood Project Group or by affiliating an existing group to the Friends
- by promoting the Project in your area; fund-raising, contributing to, or circulating, Project leaflets and newsletters
- by encouraging your local council, school etc. in the setting up of community tree planting, general landscape enhancement or habitat creation projects
- by planting or managing your own land in accordance with the aims of the Project
- by contributing to Parish Conservation Plans and other local research.
