Thanks to Luke Dawson, Countryside Service, Oxfordshire County Council who took this photograph of Velvet Shank fungi (Flammulina velutipes). The image was taken at Lidstone Bottom, near Chipping Norton in February this year.
In partnership with T4 cameras in Witney a photographic competition was held at the Wychwood Forest Fair 2010.

Created by the children from five schools the Wychwood Tapestry 2007 was displayed for the first time at the Wychwood Forest Fair at Capp’s Lodge. The 30 metre long drawn tapestry is a unique creation.
