Parish conservation challenge
The Parish Conservation Challenge, was an initiative that focused on the smaller parishes within the Wychwood Project area in West Oxfordshire.
The two year programme worked with communities to identify their priorities for the conservation of local wildlife habitats and landscape features. Funding was provided to get a community conservation project started or, in some cases enough to complete a small activity.
There were many different opportunities for people to become involved, dependent on their skills, interests and availability.
